WASHINGTON
The Washington County Board of Health extended its deadline to Friday, March 15 for submission of applications from those interested in the County Health Department’s Administrator position. Following the resignation of Emily Tokheim in February, the deadline had been set at March 1.
Tokheim left to a position with the state department of Human Resources and Health. The position was posted at the courthouse as well as widely advertised.
During its regular meeting last week, the board agreed it would not seek an interim administrator; instead, the post’s duties were to be divided among existing staff until a permanent administrator is hired.
