Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa and Mercy Iowa City are partnering to bring a mobile clinic to Kalona to provide free COVID-19 testing to qualifying patients. The clinic will be in the parking lot of Mercy Family Medicine Kalona on Oct. 27 from 3-5 p.m.
Masks will be required at the testing site. A valid form of ID will also be required.

Who should be screened for testing
• Any person with symptoms of COVID-19 (see below) or who works in close association with many people
• Agricultural workers
• Workers in health care, first responders, law enforcement, residential facility or food supply.
• Any person who has been in close contact (less than six feet and for more than 15 minutes) with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
Qualifiers for testing
One high-risk symptom or two or more low-risk symptoms or if a healthcare provider recommends testing.
High risk: New cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or mell.
Low risk: Fever, headache, muscle/body aches, fatigue, sore throat, runny nose, congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
