Caller on Saint Mary’s Street, Riverside, reports an injured raccoon from his dog attacking it. Unable to locate the animal.

Caller in the 300 block of Third Street, Kalona, reports someone set off a large firework about 15 minutes ago that was close to his house and it damaged the tree. No suspects. Documentation.

Caller in the 800 block of 14th Street, Kalona, reports a peddler was at her door and wanted to inspect the house for hail damage. Officer located the subject. He was warned about he transient merchant permit that needs to be obtained from the city and told to move on.

Vehicle stop at Vine Avenue and Highway 22, Riverside, after a report of the operator being intoxicated and leaving the casino. Officers responded and arrested Tina Marie Kingery, 51, of Cedar Rapids for violation of restricted license and failure to maintain control. Charges pending for operating while intoxicated, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Caller reports subjects are shooting off fireworks in the trailer court. Spoke with the caller who will fill out a statement. Possible charges.

Caller reports fireworks coming from the Riverside trailer court. Caller tried to speak with them, but they keep lighting them. Spoke with the caller.

Officer reports being out with several vehicles in the 200 block of Fifth Street and the 400 block of B Avenue, for parking violations in Kalona. Warnings issued. Will check back tomorrow.
