The Lone Tree Lions softball team moved to an overall record of 4-3 after going 1-2 last week.
Their 3-2 conference record has them sitting at fourth place in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North.
Louisa-Muscatine 12
Lone Tree 0
The Lions were shut out by Louisa-Muscatine 12-0 at home on June 23.
The Falcons scored five runs in the first inning and cruised to victor from there.
Arlie Lorack’s single was the Lions’ only hit of the game.
Central Lee 13
Lone Tree 3
Lone Tree lost to Central Lee 13-3 on the road on June 24.
The game was close most of the way, with the Hawks taking a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
The Lions tied the game with a run in the third, then took a 3-1 lead with a two-run fourth.
Central Lee knotted the game at three in the bottom of the fifth inning, then blew the game wide open with a 10-run sixth inning.
Arlie Lorack had a solo homerun, with an RBI and a run scored for Lone Tree.
Whitney Willoz went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and an RBI.
Lone Tree 8
Mediapolis 2
The Lions earned a road win on June 25, topping Mediapolis 8-2.
Lone Tree scored a run in the first inning and added three more in the third before the Bulldogs closed the score to 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning.
The Lions answered with a two-run fourth inning and tacked on two more runs in the seventh.
Sara Branson earned the win on the mound, striking out four while giving up a hit, a walk and two earned runs.
Arlie Lorack had a pair of homers and a single, recording four RBIs and two runs scored.
Holley Johnson and Kinley Hayes each had a pair of RBIs.
