The Lone Tree wrestling team hosted Pekin and WACO for a triangular on Thursday night.
Pekin topped the Lions in the first round 42-27.
Lone Tree’s Will Hotz (170 pounds) pinned Blake Juhl for the Lions’ only first round head-to-head match.
Matt Hemsted (138 pounds) and Matt Carlson (145 pounds) were pinned by Michael Jones and Cael Baker respectively.
Pekin’s Mason Juhl (220 pounds) beat Tim Mills by points to finish off the first round.
Lone Tree faced WACO in the third round, losing 33-18 with only two contested matches.
WACO’s Ryan Maschman (138 pounds) beat Hemsted by points.
In the final match of the night, Mills, wrestling in the 285-pound class, pinned Noah Conley.
Pekin took the second round, topping WACO 42-27.
