WELLMAN
Friends, family, and customers wished Luann Miller well on Thursday, Jan. 4 at Federation Bank in Wellman, where the community celebrated Miller’s retirement with cake and punch. Miller has worked for the bank for six years, a period she will remember fondly.
“They’re great people to work for, and it’s been a good ride. Really good,” Miller told The News. “I appreciate all they’ve done. We’re kind of like a little family.”
To celebrate, she looks forward to visiting someplace with a warmer climate this winter.
“I’m excited to see what’s ahead of me,” she said. “I’m excited for retirement.”
