Another Memorial Day has passed with a great display of flags flying over Sharon Hill Cemetery.
It’s nice we have a group of fine people to get the job done. Jan Peterseim who takes care of the flags and Elsa Schmidt, Mid-Prairie ag teacher, who spearheaded the work crew and has all the tools to get it done. Then the fine group of youth and others who do the work to get the flags up and down. Also the city workers for all their help.
Thanks again to all who made this display possible which honors those who serve, have served and those that lost their lives so we can enjoy the many freedoms we have in America.
