More than 55 students turned out for the first year of the Golden Hawk Archery Club.
The team included 20 high school students and 35 from the middle school. The club began meeting in December, and the season culminated with a competition in Washington on Feb. 29.
“It has certainly been an exciting time for everyone as we launched the program,” said Casey Peck, one of the parents who helped organize the team.
