RIVERSIDE
Chase Masterson, who is known as one of the sexiest aliens of outer space, will be in Riverside this weekend.
Cough, cough (Trekkers know the reference).
She appeared for five years on Star Trek’s Deep Space Nine.
She once appeared alongside Mark Hamill, of Star Wars fame, in “Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles.”
She is Leeta, a TV and theatre star who made AOL’s list of “10 Sexiest Aliens on TV” and Screen Rant’s “15 Most Stunning Aliens in Star Trek” as a Bajoran dabo girl working at Quark’s bar and serving up Bajoran ale.
Masterson is among three Star Trek featured guests for TrekFest 38, which will take place Friday and Saturday at Hall Park and Railroad Park in Riverside. The weekend includes a parade down Highway 22 at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a public photo session with Masterson at the Voyage Home History Center and Museum.
Joining Masterson are Lolita Fatjo, who was an assistant to the executive producer for “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and a pre-production coordinator for “The Next Generation” and “Deep Space Nine,” and also John Paladin, a makeup artist for several Star Trek actors and actresses, and also a Klingon himself in “Star Trek New Voyages, Kitumba.”
The weekend of events also includes live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Hall Park, a volleyball tournament Saturday at Hall Park, youth baseball tournaments Friday and Saturday at Hall Park, a costume contest Saturday at Hall Park and a fireworks show Saturday night.
