4-H Junior Day Camp Open for Registration

Washington County 4-H is excited to open registration for the county favorite regional 4-H Jr Camp hosted each year.  It is set to be a one-day camp environment hosted at Crooked Creek Camp outside Washington.   There will identical programming offered June 7 and June 8.   Current 4-H members 4th-6th grade are invited to register for one of those days and experience the outdoors, learn some new skills, make 4-H friends and memories for a lifetime.

This day camp will run 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from camp.   Participants will experience fishing, canoeing, outdoor nature water slides, nature art, GPS, survival skills, smores and more.  This camp is hosted by Region 19 counties including Washington, Johnson, Keokuk and Iowa county.

Registration is $40 with an optional pre-made lunch for additional $10. Camp has been provided at a discounted rate thanks to Washington County 4-H 2021 butter braid fundraiser.  Additional scholarships available upon request to amygreen@iastate.edu.  Limited space available. First come, first serve registration until filled or until deadline of May 1.  Limited space available.
