Alliant Energy has some good news for Kalona residents. A few weeks back, it was announced that Alliant would be upgrading its power grid. This week, however, they revealed a new partnership with HomeServe. HomeServe is an independent company recognized for providing home repair solutions.

Alliant further shared that additional electrical easements are planned in Kalona. Back in the spring, some easements were completed at the Sharon Hill cemetery. Now, six months later, a few more are set for Kalona. Alliant stated about five will be added in the city before the year ends.
