Frankie Buhr will hold a special dance for Camp Courageous of Iowa Friday, June 11, in the camp’s air conditioned lodge in Monticello. The camp is five miles southeast of Monticello, off Highways 151 or 38.
The dance is 6-9:30 p.m., and special guest is Leo Greco. All proceeds benefit the camp, a year-round recreational respite care facility serving more than 4,000 campers with disabilities. The camp is run on donations and is noting its 25th year of service.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
