Mark Schneider, principal for Washington Township and Wellman elementary schools, set up his office in a tent May 19, something he promised to do if the students reached their reading goal during Camp-Read-A-Lot. They surpassed the goal by reading 348,000 minutes at Wellman and 213,649 at Township. Students visited and read to Schneider throughout the day.
