Mid-Prairie High School freshman and sophomore English students recently completed a career planning unit team taught by Erin Cavanagh, Sue Schweinfurth and Don Randol, school counselor.
A combination of videos, group activities, guest speakers and computer activities were used to acquaint students with the use of the Mid-Prairie Career planning model.
Students were encouraged to consider attending college and given advice about how to choose the right school. The unit concluded with students giving speeches about the careers they are considering.
