Born August 20, 1912, in Wellman, she was the daughter of Fred and Mae (Moon) Durian. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1929 and attended the University of Iowa and business school in Des Moines.
Cecil Mae Wilson, 86, of Coralville died Tuesday, May 4, 1999 in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Services were Saturday, May 8, in the George L. Gay Funeral Home, Iowa City, with the Reverend Bob Dean officiating. Burial in the Wellman Cemetery followed.
Born August 20, 1912, in Wellman, she was the daughter of Fred and Mae (Moon) Durian. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1929 and attended the University of Iowa and business school in Des Moines.
She married Keith Wilson August 27, 1934 in Iowa City. The couple moved to the Iowa City area in 1938 and co-operated the Keith Wilson Hatcheries until 1976.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Mercy Hospital Guild.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Yoder of Kalona.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith January 1, 1997, and a brother, Richard Durian.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or the Mercy Hospital Foundation. George L. Gay Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
