She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Kalona. Chantelle was known as a gifted, funny, vibrant, and inviting personality who loved to laugh. She enjoyed bringing beauty and order into spaces and events through her decoration and organizational skills. She used these skills in making her home an inviting and beautiful place. She also was involved in numerous events such as coordinating weddings, heading up Pathways yearly carnival, decorating her church and in general bringing beauty and vitality to everything she touched. Chantelle loved to invest in the next generation and was a favorite counselor at Youth Fellowship Camp near Goshen, Indiana, for many years.
