The 4 ½ foot tall chicken mascot of Riverland Poultry in Kalona saw the corn field it was standing in harvested recently. The chicken now sports a black and gold scarf and holds a basket of eggs. The News has been closely following the chicken’s actions since July and has been helped by residents who keep us informed of his whereabouts.
