A Christmas play, Star in the East, will be performed in the Fairview Mennonite Church, rural Kalona, December 24, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The production is a joint effort of three area churches and features a 42-member cast. The program also features a number of Christmas carols. The program is open to the public, and more information may be obtained by calling 656-2481.
A Christmas Eve program of Music and Meditations will be held in Kalona Mennonite Church at 5:30 p.m., December 24.
A Candlelight Christmas Eve starts at 8 p.m. in the Kalona United Methodist Church.
Midnight
Midnight Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond December 24. A program of Christmas carols starts at 11:30 p.m.
Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Wellman, at 9 a.m. Christmas Day.
