NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS OF THE
KALONA CITY COUNCIL
To Whom It May Concern:
Notice is hereby given that the City of Kalona, Iowa will conduct public hearings on Monday, May 5th 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers in the Kalona Community Center, Kalona, Iowa. The purpose of this hearings is to consider the Kalona Planning & Zoning recommendation for conditional use rezoning of 5.70 acres located at 2254 133rd Street within the corporate limits of the City of Kalona, Iowa. Application is being submitted by Steve Rich and Sand Hill Ventures who are seeking to change 5.70 acres from A-1 (Agriculture) to C-2 (Highway Commercial).
The legal description of the proposed areas of change are:
