RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING: Monday,
October 28, 2024
The Riverside City Council meeting started at 6:30 PM, following a 5:30 PM Work Session on the Community Center with OPN and Axiom, in the Riverside City Council Chambers. Mayor Pro Tem Tom Sexton called the meeting to order, with Ryan Rogerson, Lois Schneider, Kevin Mills, and Kevin Kiene present. Mayor Allen Schneider was absent.
Motion made by Rogerson, seconded by Mills to approve the agenda. Passed 5-0.
Motioned by Kiene, seconded by Rogerson to pass Resolution 2024-75, setting the date of November 4th, 2024 for Public Hearing and Bid Letting for the Downtown Revitalization Project. Passed 5-0.
Rogerson moved, second by Mills, to issue a letter of intent to purchase UV disinfection equipment to Veenstra and Kimm, Inc. for the WWTP UV Disinfection System Replacement Project. Passed 5-0.
Rogerson moved, second by Schneider to pass Resolution 2024-76, accepting plans and specification designs for WWTP UV Disinfection System Replacement Project. Passed 5-0.
Rogerson moved, second by Schneider to pass Resolution 2024-77, setting the Public Hearing and bid letting for November 18th, 2024 for the WWTP UV Disinfection System Replacement Project. Passed 5-0.
Sexton moved, second by Schneider to adjourn at 6:55 PM. Passed 5-0.
