RIVERSIDE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING: Tuesday, December 17, 2024
The Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission meeting opened at 6:00 PM at City Hall with Chair Phil Richman requesting roll call. Commission members present: Doug Havel, Bob Yoder, Kris Westfall, Rob Weber, and Denise Reschly. Bob Schneider was absent.
Motion made by Yoder, seconded by Reschly to approve agenda. Passed 6-0.
City Admin Smith presented the proposed replat of parcel #04084000009 on IA-22 owned by Riggs Group.
Weber moved, seconded by Reschly to recommend to Washington County to approve the request for replat of parcel #04084000009 on Highway 22 owned by Riggs Group. Additionally, Weber stated that this motion is only a recommendation of approval for the replat of the parcel and shall not be considered approval of a site plan. Passed 6-0.
City Admin Smith presented a proposed 12-plex development at 3078 IA-22 and requested input on which uses are compatible with and acceptable to adjacent C-1 zoned uses.
Richman moved, seconded by Westfall that multi-family dwellings at ground level are not a compatible use on IA-22 frontages. Passed 6-0.
Motion made by Yoder, seconded by Westfall to adjourn at 6:57 PM. Passed 6-0.
