Notice of Public Hearing and Award of Contract: Notice is hereby given that the Riverside City Council will meet in the designated Council Chambers, on November 4, 2024 at 6:00 PM local time, at which time and place a hearing will be held on the proposed drawings, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Downtown Revitalization Project. Any interested party may appear to be heard. At the said time and place, the City Council will also receive and consider BIDS for said construction that were previously opened at 11:00 AM local time, October 10, 2024 at Riverside City Hall, 60 Greene Street, Riverside, Iowa.
Award of contract is subject to the requirements of the Iowa Economic Development Authority and is contingent upon completion of a federally required environmental review. The City of Riverside shall use its best efforts to conclude the environmental review expeditiously.
The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
