Wellman, Iowa
The Wellman City Council met in a special session at the Wellman City Hall Council Chambers at 5:30 pm. Mayor Ryan Miller presided with the City Administrator, City Clerk, and the following Council Members: Angela Stutzman, Fern Bontrager, Nathan Klostermann, Shannon McCain & Aaron Fleming. Also present were Tim Garrett and Rex Peck.
Discussion and action on Tim Garrett resignation of Public Works Director position. Garrett was present for the discussion with the council and requested that council allow him to withdraw his resignation. McCain made a motion to withdraw Garrett’s letter of resignation and create expectations for the public works director position for moving forward, Fleming seconded and all voted ayes.
Litwiller then stated that due to Garrett withdrawing his resignation the council was not able to go into the Closed Session. With this, the council had further open discussion.
With no further business to discuss Fleming moved to adjournment at 7:02pm, McCain seconded and all voted ayes. The next regular City Council Meeting will be Monday, April 21, 2025, at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers of the Wellman Municipal Building.
