Born March 25, 1911, in Wellman, she was the daughter of Glenn and Emma (Perrin) Allen. She attended school in Wellman and married Harold Lee Romine July 26, 1930, in Wellman.
Edith E. Romine, 88, of Wellman, died Sunday, May 16, 1999, in Parkview Manor following a brief illness.

Born March 25, 1911, in Wellman, she was the daughter of Glenn and Emma (Perrin) Allen. She attended school in Wellman and married Harold Lee Romine July 26, 1930, in Wellman.
Mrs. Romine was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Wellman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Ron and Dottie Romine, of Marion; eight grandchildren, and a brother, Hodie Allen of Wellman. She is also survived by the nephew and two nieces she raised, Dan Whetstine of Florida, Vicki Ensly and Barbara Sexton, both of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1958, one daughter, Betty Frantz, four brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to Parkview Manor Chaplaincy Program.
