The Mid-Prairie eighth grade girls Gold basketball streak continues.
The Lady Hawks bumped their overall record to 8-0, with a 69-32 trouncing of the Regina Regals in Kalona, Nov. 30.
Eight different players provided the offense with Alison Hartzler adding 23, Kyra Hershberger scoring 16 and Tarrah Berg adding 10.
A 37 point second half also helped to put the Regals away.
The eighth grade Platinum team held on to defeat the Regals 36-32 in a thriller.
Emily Troyer paced the Hawks with a team high 14 points, while Renee Schrock and Melissa Stumpf added seven points.
This win raises their record to 5-3.
The Hawks will travel to Mt. Vernon, Dec. 10.
