The Johnson County and Washington County auditors have released unofficial results from the Nov. 2 city and school board elections. All election results are unofficial until the canvass of votes.
City of Kalona
Incumbents Craig E. Spitzer (276), Joe Schmidt (267) and Henry Beisheim (189) were re-elected to the Kalona City Council. Roy Carney received 104 votes.
City of Lone Tree
Josh Spillman was elected mayor with 170 votes. Incumbent Joanne Havel received 55 votes.
Brandon D. Dix (131) and Brad Pearson (178) were elected to full four-year terms on the Lone Tree City Council. There were also 120 write-in votes, which will be identified by the Johnson County auditor at a later date.
Incumbent Ryan Paul Ronan (206) was elected to a two-year term to fill a vacancy on the Lone Tree City Council.
City of Riverside
Incumbent Allen Schneider was re-elected as the mayor of Riverside with 184 votes.
Incumbents Tom L. Sexton (126) and Kevin D. Mills (101) were elected to a four-year term on the Riverside City Council. There were 91 write-in votes.
Kevin Kiene (101) was elected to a two-year term to fill a vacancy on the Riverside City Council. Phillip Richman received 62 votes and Larry Simon received 37 votes.
City of Wellman
Incumbent Ryan J. Miller (139) was re-elected as mayor of Wellman. Douglas Oldfield received 11 votes.
Incumbents Shannon McCain (119) and Fern Bontrager (110) were elected to four-year terms on the Wellman City Council.
Highland School Board
Incumbent Rachel Longbine (287) was elected to the Highland School Board, District 1. Monica Jepson (283) was elected to the Highland School Board, District 2. Incumbent Megan Allen (259) was elected to the Highland School Board, District 5.
Lone Tree School Board
Incumbent Michael Hotz (218), incumbent Robert Sladek (208) and Gordon Viers (191) were elected to full four-year terms on the Lone Tree School Board. Incumbent Christina Magruder (234) was elected to a two-year term to fill a vacancy.
Mid-Prairie School Board
Jed Seward (551), incumbent Gabrielle Frederick (417) and Jake Snider (357) were elected to full four-year terms on the Mid-Prairie School Board. Other candidates receiving votes were Abbie Yoder (348), Jeremy Gugel (340), Tammy Rich (288), Angela Goodwin (194), Kristina Newton (185) and Jodi Meader (185).
