Born July 23, 1937, in Johnson County, he was the son of Clarence M. and Mary (Mullet) Miller. He attended Snake Hollow school, rural Kalona.
Enos C. (Herb) Miller, 61, of Kalona, died Monday, May 10, 1999, in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a short illness.
Services were Wednesday, May 12, in Kalona Mennonite Church with the Reverends Scott Swartzendruber, John Hershberger, Rich Boyd and Michael Orthel officiating. Burial was in Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona.
Born July 23, 1937, in Johnson County, he was the son of Clarence M. and Mary (Mullet) Miller. He attended Snake Hollow school, rural Kalona.
He married Anna Mae Miller in Johnson County June 2, 1957.
Mr. Miller was employed as a Yellow Cab driver and in Electrolux sales.
Survivors include his parents of Kalona; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Dean Schrock and Julie and Joe Sojka, all of Kalona; one son and his wife, Terry and Tammy Miller, Washington; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Clara and Jonothan Yoder, Middlebury, Indiana, Fanny C. Miller and Mamie Nisly, both of Kalona; two brothers and their wives, Albert C. and Mary Miller and Ezra “Buzz” and Norma Miller, all of Kalona; seven grandchildren, Erin Schrock, August Schrock, Jessica Hora, Ashley Sojka, Tadd Miller, Tangier Miller and Titeus Miller, and a special friend, Ann Yotty.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Miller, Jr., Noah Miller, and an infant brother.
A general memorial fund has been established.
