Fannie Jane Miller, 98 of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at Majora Lane while in rehab following surgery for a broken leg. She married Eli C. Miller, on Dec. 25, 1947, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Fannie was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Kalona, Iowa, a daughter of Ananias J. and Ella Mae (Shetler) Beachy. She moved to Florida in 1985, and then to Millersburg, Ohio in 2018.

Fannie was a member of the Palm Grove Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Florida. She will be remembered as someone who enjoyed life and brought joy and humor to those around her. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, quilting, and playing the marble board game.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter: Marland and Alice Miller of Millersburg, Robert and Rachel Miller of Henrico, Virginia, Warren and Mary Miller of Mexico, Harry and Celeste Miller of San Antonio, Texas, and Lillian and Lowell King of Redlands, California; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother: Joe (Mary) Beachy; and a sister: Esther Zook.

She was preceded by her husband: Eli C. Miller; brothers: Ray (Anna Mae) Beachy, John (Edna) Beachy, Glen (Susan) Beachy, Earl (Mary) Beachy, Jonas (Magdalene) Beachy, and Jesse (Ruth) Beachy; a sister: Mary (David L.) Miller; and a brother-in-law: Henry Zook.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at the Gospel Haven Mennonite Church, Millersburg, with pastors from Christian Life Mennonite Church and Palm Grove Mennonite Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Fryburg Beachy Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gospel Haven Mennonite Church from 6-8:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 1.

The family expresses their appreciation for the good care she received at the Greenridge assisted living facility during the 3 ½  years that she was there and for the care she received at the Pomerene Hospital, and Majora Lane Rehab Center.
