Fans celebrate Jazdia’s Homecoming at TrekFest 39
An overcast morning with temperatures in the 70’s created perfect conditions for Trekkies to cosplay at TrekFest 39 on Saturday, June 29. Cedar Rapids native Terry Farrell, who played Jazdia Dax in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, was present and available to fans who gathered for “Jazdia’s Homecoming,” the theme of this year’s event.

Fans lining the street cheered for Eastern Iowa’s own Terry Farrell, this year’s TrekFest celebrity guest, as she rode by at the front of the parade.

Bonnie Gordon also greeted fans from her parade ride; she was an actor at Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas, and a voice actor in Star Trek Prodigy.
