Kelli Ferguson, a 6th grader at Mid-Prairie Middle School, won the drawing for the Sony Playstation, given at the conclusion of the recent fund raiser in the Kalona Elementary, Washington Township Elementary and Middle School facilities. The drawing was held Friday, October 22.
The fund-raiser grossed $18,233 of which the schools received 50 percent. Funds will be apportioned among the three schools.
Proceeds will be used to provide hands-on activities and equipment for the students.
