There are five candidates for three positions on the Mid-Prairie Board of Education.
They are incumbent Elizabeth Curl and Henry Lemke, both of Wellman, Jim Hussey, Perry Hess and Bonnie Nisly, all of Kalona.
Incumbents Ed Whetstine and Craig Schweinfurth, both of Wellman, chose not to seek re-election.
The statewide election is Tuesday, September 14.
