Flu and pneumonia immunization shots will be offered at the Kalona United Methodist Church Sunday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic will be in the main lobby of the church hall. Fee is $1`0 for the flue shot and $15 for the pneumonia vaccine. Both are free to Medicare Part B recipients.
The clinic is sponsored by Heartland Home Health and the Washington County Hospital and Clinics. For more information about the clinic call 319-653-9801.
The clinic is the same day as the church’s Fall Harvest Dinner, feturing a prok lion meal, that will be served in the Fellowship Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Following the dinner, there is an auction starting at 2 p.m. that features hand-made quilts, crafts, dinners, specialty items, wallhangings and many more items.
Proceeds will be used to help pay the indebtedness for the new hall.
