The Mid-Prairie girls competed at Tipton on April 17, getting their best finishes individually in the 200m dash by Lexi Duwa and as a team in the 4x100m relay.

Duwa compted in the 200m dash, finishing third overall in 27.54, she also ran on the third-place finishing M-P 4x100m relay squad that clocked a time of 53.31 with teammates Arissa Marine, Emily Cayton and Alex Rath.

The Golden Hawks got a fifth place finish in the Sprint Medley relay with teammates Arissa Marine, Alex Rath, Lexi Duwa and Ali Butters taking the baton around the track twice in 2:02.92.

The Mid-Prairie girls will be in action at home on Tuesday evening, April 22 in Wellman (after Kalona News publishing deadlines) and are scheduled to host their girls home meet on Thursday, April 24.
