About 1,500 pork tenderloins were at the ready Saturday night at the Wellman Volunteer Fire Department’s 5th Annual Tenderloin Meal. The grillmen took care that each of the nearly 9-ounce fillets was specially seasoned and cooked to perfection; hungry folks enjoyed the meat on a premium bun with a side of those locally famous fries before popping the after-dinner mint. The department reports that this was one of their best fundraisers yet.
