The Highland High School Drama Club will present John Lennon and Me, a comedy-drama by Cherie Bennett, Friday and Saturday, November 5 and 6, at the school. Curtain is 7 p.m. both nights.
The play deals with the life of a young girl learning to cope with a terminal illness and stars Rachel Goss and Dana Thomann as the two who become unlikely friends.
The cast also features seniors Melissa Figgins, Nathan Krotz, Lena Philips and Tamra Swailes. Other cast members are Wes Darby, Kate Duwa, Anna Marie Hall, Julianne Ossman, Tanya Rossmann, Travis Stout, Shannah Goss and Kristi Musser.
Junior Steph Mohror is the assistant director.
Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to help in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
