Beginning December 5, 2022, the Highland FFA will be hosting their annual FFA Food Drive. This year we will be working with the local cub scout troops to try and reach as many people as possible within the community.
Some things that we are looking to obtain for this food drive are quick and easy meals and snacks for local kids. Some items are (but not limited to): Easy Mac, granola bars, fruit snacks, canned soup, canned fruit, quick pasta (Ramen), peanut butter/jelly, chips, cracker snacks, Goldfish, juice boxes, and applesauce.
Items that are individually wrapped are highly recommended for easier distribution. Due to storage, please only donate non-perishable items. Any food collected through the drive will be distributed to local families.
If you are interested in donating the Riverside drop off locations include: Highland High School, Highland Middle School, Highland Elementary School, La Chiva Loca, VFW #6414, Dollar General, and Murphy’s Bar and Grill.
As always, we thank the community for any and all donations! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Gina Trower, Highland FFA Advisor, via email at gtrower@highlandhuskies.org.
