Fifth grade families are invited to join the Hillcrest Academy community on Monday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. as they host a Middle School Information Night.
Students and parents should enter through the Celebration Hall entrance and will be greeted in the atrium outside the auditorium.
Once inside, principal Dwight Gingerich along with Director of Enrollment Rebecca Beachy Miller will welcome everyone by speaking a bit about Hillcrest Academy and how this historical piece of the school’s legacy came about. Interested families will also get to hear from committee and board members about logistics for the middle school, such as the 6th grade daily schedule, including curriculum and faith formation; pick-up/drop-off; and extracurriculars.
Before wrapping up, Rebecca Beachy Miller will address the application process along with tuition structure, and transportation.
Following the informational time in Celebration Hall, families will have the opportunity to tour the intended middle school space and even have the chance to dream a little with the committee on how they’d like the space to look.
Be sure to check out what’s in store for Hillcrest Academy as they begin enrolling 6th grade students in the fall of 2023. Join them on Monday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. in Celebration Hall, and if you have younger children, they’ve got that covered too, as childcare will be available.
Interested families can sign up to attend at hillcrestravens.org/5-8events.
