Honeytree emerged as a pioneer of Christian music during the Jesus Movement of the 1970s, with such songs as "Rattle Me, Shake Me, CleanBefore My Lord and Diamond in the Rough.
Once recognized by her waist-long brown hair and wire-rimmed glasses, Honeytree's looks and music have changed with the times, but her commitment to ministry remains.
A recent album, Pioneer, features 11 original songs in the folk-rock, country, blues and Latin styles remniscent of her first albums. In thetitle cut, Pioneer, she recalls her early years in contemporaryChristian music, while challenging today's pioneers of faith to press onto their own frontiers.
Tapes and CDs will be available for purchase, and a freewill offering will be taken.
