Born January 10, 1960, in Kalispell, Montana, he was the son of O. Fred and Vida M. (Miller) Yutzy. He graduated from Hutchinson High School and worked as a machinist and auto mechanic.
James F. “Jim” Yutzy, 39, of Hutchinson, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, in his home following a heart attack.
Services were Friday, May 14, in Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Howard Wagler officiating. Burial was in the Yoder Mennonite Church Cemetery, Yoder, Kansas.
Born January 10, 1960, in Kalispell, Montana, he was the son of O. Fred and Vida M. (Miller) Yutzy. He graduated from Hutchinson High School and worked as a machinist and auto mechanic.
A lifetime Hutchinson resident, Mr. Yutzy was a former member of Kansas Central Model Railroaders.
He married Christy Biles October 17, 1986 in Hutchinson.
Survivors include one son, Keifer James Yutzy and one daughter, Mary Arlene Cheyenne Yutzy, both of Aronia, Kansas, his mother, Vida M. Yutzy of South Hutchinson, and four sisters, Myrna Christiansen, Gloria Hall, Stella Riney and Connie Warrington, all of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, Jay Christiansen.
Memorials may be made to his chidlren’s college education fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
