Born November 2, 1946, in Kalona, he was the son of Joe and Gladys (Maxwell) Fisher.
James G. Fisher, 53, of Gilbert, Arizona, formerly of Kalona, died Tuesday, December 28, 1999, in his home of a massive heart attack.
Memorial services will be held in Full Gospel Revival Center, Kalona, at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, with the Reverend John Dale Helmuth officiating. The family will meet with family and friends following the service.
Born November 2, 1946, in Kalona, he was the son of Joe and Gladys (Maxwell) Fisher.
He was a graduate of Mid-Prairie High School, Kalona, and worked as a barber in Cedar Rapids and Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra, of Gilbert; his parents, Joe and Gladys Fisher of Kalona; one son, Joe Fisher of Gilbert; one brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Judy Fisher of Cedar Rapids; and four nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cinda, and his grandparents.
