Born April 27, 1936, in Milton, he was the son of Louis and Lotty (Doll) Albright. He married Virginia Rotzinger November 3, 1956, and they were later divorced.
Jerry Lee Albright, 63, of Wellman died Friday, September 24, 1999, in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a sudden illness.
Services were Tuesday, September 28, in Beatty Funeral Home, Washington, with the Reverend Gary Dobbins officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington.
Born April 27, 1936, in Milton, he was the son of Louis and Lotty (Doll) Albright. He married Virginia Rotzinger November 3, 1956, and they were later divorced.
He was employed as a farmhand and worked at Elm Grove Cemetery. He also was employed by the University of Iowa from 1967-1997 and for Hy-Vee from 1997 until his death.
Survivors include a special friend, Eva Dobbins of Keswick; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy Albright of Wellman, and Rich and Renee Albright of Washington; three daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Mike McGuire of Washington, Janice and Duane Fox of Fremont, and Sue and Paul Mulnix of Stockton; two brothers, Murl Albright and Jesse Albright, both of Washington; two sisters, Lela May Downing of Stockport and Mary Lou Stewart of Drakesville; and twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Earl Albright.
A general memorial fund has been established.
