The Johnson County Agricultural Association received a grant award of $125,000 from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation on Nov. 29, which will be used to replace the main livestock show arena at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. This new space will allow them to provide a safe, accommodating, and enhanced experience for annual fair exhibitors as well as allow increased utilization of the facility for other 4-H, FFA, agricultural exhibits, and other community events.
