Thomas A. Jepson, CEO, Freedom Security Bank of Kalona was named to the Iowa Bankers Association’s (IBA) Management Committee which is responsible for conducting the IBA’s annual Bank Management Conference set for Des Moines February 9-10.
As a committee member, Jepson’s responsibilities will include input on industry management-related issues, technology, regulations, association educational programs and association products and services to aid member banks’ profitability and community service.
He has been CEO of Freedom Security Bank since 1991 and also is CEO of West Chester Savings Bank of Washington. He believes that as banking continues to change so rapidly it is important that the views of bankers from east central Iowa be part of those changes.
The IBA dates to 1887 and today represents both commercial banks and thrifts in the state.
