Due to a sale at the Kalona Sales Barn June 19, registration for the Kalona Days Parade will be at the corner of 7th Street and D Avenue. Floats will line up facing east on D Avenue.
The parade will turn south on 7th Street to Kalona Oil where they will rejoin the original parade route.
The change means the parade will not be passing on the north side of Kalona Valley Apartments, a spot that has been a favorite of apartment residents for viewing the parade in past years.
Registration forms for the Fun Run/Walk may be picked up at the Kalona Rec Center or City Office. Other registration forms are, or will soon be, available at the Chamber Office.
A performance of the Janet Long Dancers has been added to the Friday night line-up of entertainment in the City Park. The dance group will go on stage at 6:30 p.m., prior to the Variety Show which begins at 7 p.m.
