The Kalona News and CityPapers.com will hold a seminar about use of the Internet at the Kalona Chamber building from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 20.
Presenter will be Ken Eck, vice president of technical operates at Internet Express: CityPapers.com. He is working with the Kalona News in building an electronic newspaper affiliated with other newspapers throughout the nation. Eck has provided consulting for over 15 years.
The program will:
•answer the most common questions and concerns businesses have about moving to the Internet.
•explain the pros and cons of going on-line with your business.
•identify the dos and don’ts in creating a website.
•show you how to get started.
Individual consulting on your Internet projects can be done on Thursday afternoon.
