The annual omelet breakfast fund raiser, held by the Kalona Rotary Club, will be Saturday, April 17, from 7-10:30 a.m. in the Kalona Chamber of Commerce Building.
Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 years old and younger.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Kalona Public Library and probably will be used to help with the $28,000 automation cost.
The Friends of the Kalona Public Library have raised part of the costs for the project that is approximately half completed. The Library also received a grant to help pay part of the costs.
Proceeds form last year’s breakfast also were donated to the library, and Rotarians have offered other assistance to the facility.
