The Kalona Softball League champion will be decided this Friday night on the final game of the season. At 10:00 p.m. Upper Deer Creek will host ProCoats/ Hard Luck to see who will take home the first place trophy. Both teams stand 12-3 in league play thus far. Also at 10:00 p.m. Dairymart will play Norris Trucking for the 3rd place trophy.
Next week, the Kalona Slo-Pitch League Tournament will begin play on Monday July 19, with games beginning at 6:00 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Thursday July 22, with the winner's bracket final beginning at 7:00 p.m.
