Kalona Cooperative Technology Company (KCTC) and Aureon are pleased to announce that United Presbyterian Home (UP Home) is a 2022 Charity Grant recipient. This grant was presented in conjunction with KCTC who not only sponsored the grant application but will be matching it as well. Upon reviewing an abundance of applications, the Aureon Charity Grant Committee delegated funds to projects committed to the betterment of local Iowa communities.
This grant to the UP Home will enable them to upgrade their current phone system. Moving to a VoIP (voice over internet protocol) phone service will effectively improve communication across their campus and create a more efficient work environment.
“KCTC appreciates the efforts of UP Home. Their passion and dedication to our community has a tremendous impact,” Casey Peck, KCTC GM. “We are proud to partner with Aureon to make this grant possible.
“At Aureon, we know the importance of our rural Iowa communities,” said Scott Behn, CEO of Aureon. “That is why we are dedicated to supporting the nonprofit organizations that bring forth these community-improvement projects that will help these communities thrive. We look forward to aiding future projects that are sure to positively impact rural Iowans.”
The Aureon Charity Grant Program was established in 1993 to increase service and support to rural independent telecommunication companies and the communities they serve. The Aureon Charity Grant Program awards grants on a quarterly basis and has donated over $1 million to Iowa nonprofit organizations over the last twenty-seven years.
