The acclaimed Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof, comes to Kirkwood Community College’s Ballantyne Auditorium November 5-7 with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The play is directed by Bob Aldridge with musical direction by Ray Salucka. Doug Anderson is the scenic and lighting designer and technical director and Cindy Abel, costume designer.

The play is derived from the stories of Sholem Aleichem, known as the Jewish Mark Twain.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students with current IDs. Kirkwood staff and students are admitted free.

In conjunction with the musical, Kirkwood’s Culinary Arts program will offer a Russian Dinner Friday, November 5. The seven-course meal, reflecting the cuisine of rural Russia, will be served at 6 p.m. Cost is $12 per person and dinner reservations may be made by calling 319-398-5468.
