Services were Thursday, October 7, in Parkside Church of God, Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Corpus Christi.

Rev. Spitzer was born March 12, 1907. He was an ordained minister and elder in the Church of the Brethren for more than 45 years. He was a pastor to churches in six southwestern states and served as a merchant seaman during World War II.

The Reverend Lee F. Spitzer, 92, of Texas died recently.

Services were Thursday, October 7, in Parkside Church of God, Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Corpus Christi.

Rev. Spitzer was born March 12, 1907. He was an ordained minister and elder in the Church of the Brethren for more than 45 years. He was a pastor to churches in six southwestern states and served as a merchant seaman during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Elsie (Hager) Spitzer, two daughters, Joan Gould of Sarasota, Florida, and Jerri Roberts of Corpus Christi; two sons, Howard Spitzer of Corpus Christi, and Terry Spitzer of Kalona; two sisters, Grace Spitzer of Hagerstown, Maryland and Joyce Knauff of Ohio; one brother, Carrol Spitzer of Hagerstown, Maryland; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
